A Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) is a person who has completed the CAPS training and is certified by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) .

They receive in-depth training that allows them to:

• Help you identify solutions to your particular needs.
• Recommend innovative, stylish ways to improve your home.
• Install modifications or assistive devices.
• Enhance your home through remodeling or new construction.

Many contractors and businesses claim to have knowledge and experience in accessibility and aging in place, but only Certified Aging in Place Specialists are formally recognized as experts in the home construction and remodeling field.

When you reach out to Accessibility101, we will follow up with you to get details about your project. We prefer to visit your home in person so we can see the space(s) you are concerned about with our own eyes.

Once we get information about your unique needs, we will prepare an estimate for you. The estimate is good for 30 days.

All projects require a deposit for us to begin our work.

Once you give us the green light to begin work, we will do our best to:

• complete the work in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices.
• communicate regularly with you during the project to notify you of progress and necessary actions and changes.
• strive to maintain a clean and organized work site.

Once the project has been completed, the remaining balance of the project is due in full.

We offer warranties on every project. Accessibility101 guarantees construction performed on our projects or a period of one year from the date of completion.

If you decide to work with Accessibility101, you will need to obtain any permission from Homes Association. We will handle any local building permits needed.

You will also be responsible for supplying all electricity and water and any additional facilities required by Accessibility101 at the job site.
